OUR MISSION

The Symposium on Therapeutic Advances in Animal Rehabilitation (STAAR) delivers hands-on, practical, and engaging continuing education for veterinary professionals and rehabilitation therapists.

Founded in 2010 and held each Spring in northern New Jersey, STAAR offers a uniquely immersive learning experience through:

• full-day and mini-workshops with live animal patients
• scientific lectures and case-based presentations
• interactive product demonstrations and education sessions
• expert-led roundtable discussions and collaborative forums

STAAR’s workshops are led by top professionals in veterinary rehabilitation and physical therapy, offering small-group instruction (1 animal for every 3-4 participants) for personalized, experience-based learning.

More than a conference, STAAR is a collaborative community designed with an open and supportive environment where professionals come together to share ideas, explore innovations, and shape the future of animal rehabilitation, sports medicine, fitness, and wellness. Feedback and participation from our attendees are central to our growth. STAAR is build by and for the veterinary community.
