Shipping policy

Update as of February 1, 2022: All shipping hubs (FedEx, UPS, USPS) around the country are experiencing delays due to overall e-commerce volume, weather-related issues,  and the new safety measures put in place due to COVID-19.   All shipping carriers are committed to delivering your package as quickly as possible.  Vital Vet is not responsible for shipping carrier delays or losses.

Vital Vet is an online directory for over 500 specialty products for pets.  Products are shipped directly by our partners to you.  Since our partners are located throughout the world, each has their own individual shipping and handling policy.  Our partners take enormous pride in every product offered on Vital Vet, and strive to deliver them in the best possible condition on the requested delivery date.  There are unfortunately some things outside of our partners’ control such as bad weather and transit delays once the package is in the hands of the chosen carrier.  As such, the shipping guidelines published on this website are not guarantees of a shipping or arrival date.  Vital Vet is unable to guarantee time of delivery, as this is all subject to the local carrier. Most carriers will deliver packages anytime between 8am-10pm.

Vital Vet is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier mis-scans or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information.

Vital Vet does not require a signature for the release of any shipment. Vital Vet is not responsible for packages that require a signature but are not delivered because no one is home to sign.  Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside of Vital Vet’s control.

Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping, contact, and e-mail information is correct before submitting an order.

Vital Vet follows the return policy of the individual manufacturer. 

For returns/exchanges, please contact the product partner that shipped you the product.  For example, if you would like to return something to FitPaws, please contact FitPaws directly.  Vital Vet will assist in any way possible to help expedite the return/exchange process.
