This lecture is free for STAAR Participants, and is sponsored by: Equuisir
This lecture will delve into the underlying mechanisms and translational research supporting energy-based modalities in equine and canine veterinary practice. Drawing on peer-reviewed studies and emerging data, this session will explore how photobiomodulation, infrared light, and electromagnetic field therapy influence cellular metabolism, mitochondrial signaling, neuroimmune modulation, and systemic homeostasis. Emphasis will be placed on measurable outcomes in pain management, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, gastrointestinal health, and stress physiology, as well as the integration of these modalities with conventional therapies.
Attendees will leave with an evidence-based framework for applying these technologies to optimize patient outcomes and expand therapeutic frontiers in veterinary medicine.
